Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Taste of Summer! We look forward to seeing you next year.
The 6 th annual Taste of Summer Rancho Mirage is a wrap! What we loved most about this year’s event was how the community showed up to support local restaurants and charities. Not only did our community show up, but they also understood the hardships our restaurants suffered during this pandemic, with short staffing and previous closures, they were so kind and tipped their servers well.
The Taste of Summer event is a fun tradition, but it is also a strong economic driver that helps our local businesses during slower months. We sincerely thank everyone who participated. This community keeps showing up to help one another and it is treasured!
- 21 nonprofits fundraised with the potential of approximately $15,000
- About 2,000 wristbands used in our community!
- Next year we hope to bring the event back to full speed in the summer of 2022
We at The Slice and Maracas enjoy the Taste of Summer Rancho Mirage as it brings new and existing customers into our restaurants during the dog days of summer. The customers love getting a deal and we stay busy and keep people employed! On top of that we it helps our area charities fundraise. Overall, we feel that it is doing exactly what we anticipated it to do so many years ago. – Jack Srebnik, The Slice and Todd Flood, Maracas
